Using the tools
Instant.tools is free to use, for personal and commercial work, with no account. You can use a tool's output anywhere, including in client projects and products.
Your content
Files, text and URLs you use with the tools stay yours, and so do the results. We claim no rights to them. You're responsible for having the right to process what you add. How each tool handles your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Fair use
Please don't:
- use the tools for anything unlawful, or to process content you have no right to use;
- send automated or bulk traffic to the online tools or the Instant.tools API, or try to get around its rate limits;
- use URL-checking or screenshot tools against sites in a way their owners haven't allowed;
- try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its services.
We may block traffic that breaks these terms, to keep the tools fast and free for everyone.
Third-party services and content
URL to Screenshot uses Microlink and Image Search uses Wikimedia Commons, so their terms also apply when you use those tools. Images found through Image Search belong to their creators and carry their own licenses. Check the license and attribution on each image's page before you reuse it.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work to make them accurate, but results such as readiness scores, token counts, compression and conversions can be wrong or incomplete. Check important output before relying on it, and keep a copy of your original files.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Instant.tools is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the site or its tools.
Changes
We may add, change or remove tools, and update these terms. When the terms change, the date above changes too. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
