SHA Hash Generator
Get SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512 hashes or HMACs of text or a file, and verify a checksum.
Generate random passwords with your browser's cryptographic random number generator. Pick the length and character types, and see how long each would take to guess.

How it works
Set the length. 16 or more is a good default for accounts in a password manager.
Choose uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols, and whether to skip look-alike characters such as l, 1, O and 0.
Copy a password, or generate several at once and pick one.
FAQ
No. They're made in this tab with crypto.getRandomValues and disappear when you close or reload it.
Length beats complexity. 16 random characters from all four types is about 105 bits, far beyond what can be guessed. For one you'll type often, use a longer passphrase instead.
Not much. Untick Symbols and add a few characters of length to make up for it: 20 letters and digits is stronger than 16 with symbols.
