Compress PNG, JPG and SVG files in lossless or lossy mode so your pages load faster.
Find free photos and illustrations you can use in blog posts, presentations and projects. Every result is freely licensed, with a ready-made credit line.
Results come from Wikimedia Commons, where every file is free to use under its licence. Most licences ask you to credit the author: use “Copy credit” on any image. Your search terms are sent to Wikimedia to find results.
How it works
Search for what you need, like “mountains” or “office desk”. Switch to illustrations for drawings and SVGs.
Filter by orientation to find images that fit a banner, a phone screen or a square post.
Open the full-size file, and copy the credit line so you can attribute the author as the license asks.
About this tool
Using an image you found on a random website can lead to copyright claims. Image Search looks only at Wikimedia Commons, one of the largest collections of freely licensed media, with millions of photos, illustrations, diagrams and SVG files that anyone can reuse.
Most files are licensed under Creative Commons or are in the public domain. Many licenses, such as CC BY and CC BY-SA, let you use the image commercially as long as you credit the author. Each result shows its license, and Copy credit gives you an attribution line you can paste under the image.
Every result comes from Wikimedia Commons, which only hosts free content.
Switch between photos and drawings, diagrams and SVG files.
Find landscape, portrait or square images for banners, phones and posts.
Copy a ready-made attribution with title, author, license and link.
